KENTUCKY — We're keeping an eye on a winter system moving into the region tonight into Tuesday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect starting tonight through early Tuesday morning. The central and northern half of the state are under the advisory.
Most of the daytime will feature plenty of clouds and very cold temperatures. As moisture moves into the area, it could initially start off as a wintry mix. It will quickly change over to all snow for a good portion of the area. The southern half will stay rain a little longer before seeing the changeover to snow.
Accumulating snow is most likely overnight, with snow sticking to area roads.
