CLEVELAND — Nearly two weeks after having liver transplant surgery , Cleveland Browns legend Bernie Kosar announced Sunday that he is back in the hospital.

On Monday, Kosar told 3News that he is hoping to be released from University Hospitals either "tonight or tomorrow." He did not give any further details about his condition.

Kosar posted an update on his social media pages Sunday morning, saying in a video that he is "trying to stay positive but obviously a little bummed."

"Let's have a winning day," Kosar said, repeating a mantra that has become a staple of his frequent social media updates throughout his health journey. "U matter. Go Browns."
