A Lakewood man was arrested on accusations he set three fires Saturday night, including one in a home, authorities said.
Israel Salgado-Miron, 39, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday with aggravated arson and two counts of arson, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement.
Salgado-Miron was charged after a string of fires were reported in Lakewood late Saturday. The first fire was reported at 10:30 p.m. at an East Eighth Street home.
Police and firefighters found a fire in the basement window well. Firefighters then found and extinguished two brush fires along railroad tracks, the statement said.
The three fires were determined to be deliberately set after an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit-Arson Squad, Ocean County Sheriff’s Off
