Wintry weather — wet snow, rain — in Maryland weather forecast on Tuesday with more late in the week

The weather forecast shows Maryland will see some wintry weather early Tuesday.

It’ll start off dry Monday with mostly sunny skies and chilly conditions. High temperatures will be in the mid-40s.

Tuesday will be a different story: Expect a burst of snow to move into the Baltimore metro early Tuesday morning with minor snow accumulations possible, especially areas north and west of Interstate 95.

There will maybe an inch or even 2 inches of snow possible, more toward Westminster and Frederick, before the snow mixes with rain and washes away.
