BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two men are facing charges after an alleged weekend robbery in Bowling Green.

According to an arrest report, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Sunday to the 300 block of Hillview Mills Boulevard regarding a report of suspicious individuals.

The report states dispatch said “several subjects wearing masks and armed with firearms” were trying to enter an apartment.

Police say upon arrival, the subjects were no longeron scene, however, they heard four or five shots from east of their location.

This led law enforcement to respond to the 500 block of Moss Creek Avenue, according to the report.

Authorities say a victim stated at least four male subjects entered a home through a back door window.
