VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: November 1, 10:43 a.m. - The Vienna Police Department said the line has been repaired and they are refilling the water system. A boil water order is now in place until further notice.

ORIGINAL: December 1, 8:56 a.m. - The Vienna Police Department announced a citywide water outage on Monday morning due to a break at the water plant.

The entire town is currently without water service. Authorities said crews are actively working to resolve the issue, but there is no estimated time for when service will be restored.

Once service resumes, a boil order will be in effect for all residents.
