HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WCSC) — A man is facing charges in connection with a stabbing following an argument on Hilton Head Island Sunday night.

Sean Elliott, 39, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Shelter Cove Lane to a reported stabbing at 7:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they located a 62-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

Investigation revealed that an altercation occurred after the vehicle the victim was traveling in turned on to Shelter Cove Lane from a parking lot when he felt something hit the side of the car.
