LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Along a quiet street in Sweet Valley, a tiny little box sits at the end of a driveway. A name proudly on the side in memory of a friend and neighbor.
"She had a very giving spirit, loved the community, loved the people, and everyone she ran into, so doing Mary's Free Little Library it's carrying on her spirit," said Mickey, neighbor.
Mary's Free Little Library sits across from Mary Love's summer home; a gesture that was started earlier this year in Mary's honor, from her friend and neighbor, Mickey.
"You would always find Mary on the shore front in her swing, drinking a Long Island iced tea. So Mary's Free Little Library is a very fitting thing for her," said Mickey.
Mickey began selling eggs over the summer to help fund books for the library when she saw the need
