A 19-year-old Chattanooga man is facing multiple charges after fleeing from a traffic stop early Wednesday morning, December 3.

Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies say they pulled over a vehicle driving near the 7700 block of Lee Highway.

While the deputy was returning to his patrol vehicle to verify information, the passenger jumped out and the driver fled, starting a pursuit.

Deputies say they used the PIT maneuver, running into the side of the suspect's car to get him to stop.

Seth Livingston, 19, ultimately crashed into a van after slowing down. They say he got out and ran on foot, but deputies caught up with him and placed him under arrest.

After visiting a local hospital for medical review, deputies took him to the Hamilton County Jail.
