ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Court documents filed this week reveal how much the U.S. Marshals have charged the St. Louis City Sheriff’s Office to transport the sheriff to and from his five-day trial that ended last week.
Alfred Montgomery, the 28-year-old St. Louis City Sheriff, and his lawyers filed documents on Monday that show the U.S. Marshals Service has charged their office $6,852.54 for transportation and security. The sheriff’s office is now asking the state of Missouri to cover that cost.
