KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man accused of shooting and injuring two people in an early-November altercation is now facing charges.

Marquise Bankston, 29, was arrested after detectives used surveillance images, license plate readers and other evidence to link him to an alleged shooting on Nov. 5.

At 3:19 p.m. that day, KCPD officers were dispatched to an undisclosed location on the report of gunshots. Officers found three victims, one of whom was a juvenile, in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Two had been shot.

According to court documents, surveillance footage in the area showed the victims standing outside as a car pulled up in a nearby intersection. The driver, Bankston, reportedly got out of the car and shot toward the victims several times.
