A 'controlled explosion' has been carried out after 200 Midland homes were evacuated.
Seven streets in Derby were cordoned off after a major incident was declared.
People were told to leave their homes after police executed a warrant at an address in Vulcan Street and arrested two men on suspicion of explosives offences.
Derbyshire Constabulary said the men - one in his 40s and another in his 50 - remained in police custody.
