A reclusive North East sex attacker who chased down and stabbed a schoolgirl in the street is appealing his 43-year prison sentence. Ellis Dismore was found guilty of attempted murder following a horrifying attack.
Another jury also found him guilty of a string of child sex offences and stalking after the attempted murder investigation uncovered a history of horrific offending. But the 25-year-old is set to appear at London's Court of Appeal after his defence lawyers submitted an appeal against the length of his sentence which has seen him jailed for 38 years.
