A 20-year-old St. Clair Shores man is accused of making a threat of violence against an elementary school near his home last September.

Joel Pheonix Bradley Edwards was arraigned Friday afternoon in front of Judge Joseph Oster in 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores on charges of making an intentional threat to commit an act of violence against a school, its employees or students with a specific intent to commit an overt act or carry it out, and using a computer to commit a crime, both 10-year charges. He also was charged with felony firearm possession, which carries a mandatory two-year term.
