HOLYOKE ― New laptops are now lifelines for domestic violence survivors across Massachusetts, thanks to a partnership between AT&T, Human IT and advocacy groups working to close the digital divide.

The organizations delivered 50 refurbished laptops Wednesday to Jane Doe Inc. , Alianza DV Services and other regional domestic violence advocacy organizations, part of a broader effort to help survivors gain digital access and safety.

The computers, funded by AT&T, went to recipients chosen by the groups, organizers said.

The donation was paired with an in-person presentation on digital safety in domestic violence situations.
