VIVIAN, La. -- A water main break has left the town of Vivian without water, officials said Friday in a news release.
Crews are working to make necessary repairs to restore service as soon as possible, town officials said.
Once service is restored, all water customers on the town's water system will be under a mandatory boil order.
The town will rescind the order once the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals says the water is safe to drink.
