HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - Five people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 77 in Huntersville early Saturday morning, according to MEDIC.

The crash happened around 1:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the Gilead Road exit.

All five people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, MEDIC said.
