BENTON, La. — Bossier Parish Administrator Ken Ward said staff have started evaluating artificial intelligence tools to strengthen parish operations from public safety to planning, and day-to-day work.

Ward told jurors the parish participated in an AI webinar this week as part of early research into how AI may “not only just hurt the parish but also benefit the parish.”

The parish plans to continue studying potential uses while monitoring risks and legal implications.
