ALLENDALE, MI -- Nine of the 10 highest paid employees at Grand Valley State University earn salaries over $300,000, according to the university’s recently released 2025 Faculty and Staff Salary Information Book .

That’s an increase from 2023 , when just three employees made $300,000 or more.

Last updated Nov. 21, 2024, the salary information book includes all regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff on GVSU’s payroll. While posted publicly earlier in December, the university doesn’t include the names of employees - just positions.

Eight of the 10 highest paid employees have president or vice presidential titles, and all 10 of them fall under the school’s “executive, administrative and professional staff” category.
