Kate Winslet has slammed people who have plastic surgery.
The actress, 50, confirmed she doesn't like it when people have tweakments.
"Oh, it's terrifying. I think, 'No, not you! Why?'" she said in an interview with The Times.
She blamed social media for the phenomenon, saying she believes people who have cosmetic enhancements "become obsessed with chasing an idea of perfection to get more likes on Instagram."
She added, "You do not actually know what that person looks like - from the eyebrows to mouth to lashes to hair, that young woman is scared to be herself. What idea of perfection are people aspiring to? I blame social media and its effect on mental health."
She also revealed she isn't a fan of weight loss drugs for aesthetic reasons.
"If a person's self-esteem is so bound up in how they look, it's frightening," she said. "And it's puzzling because I have moments when I think it's better, when I look at actresses at events dressed how they want, whichever shape - but then so many people are on weight-loss drugs. It's so varied."
The Titanic star confirmed she "hasn't got anything" done or injected into her face. "My favourite thing is when your hands get old," she said. "That's life, in your hands. "Some of the most beautiful women I know are over 70 and what upsets me is that young women have no concept of what being beautiful actually is."
The actress has previously spoken about how she's chosen to embrace ageing.
"I'm great with it. I think I look flipping amazing," she said on the How to Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day.
"We're so conditioned, women in our 40s, to think, OK, well, I'm creeping closer to the end. You know, you think you go into menopause and you're going to stop having sex, and your boobs are going to sag, and your skin's going to go crepey, and all these things,. But, first of all, so what? And secondly, it's just conditioning."
