DENVILLE — Jack Graham has been thinking about shot put since he was in kindergarten at Alfred Vail School in Morris Plains. His teacher was Michelle Vena, mom of legendary Morris County thrower Nick Vena . She told lots of stories about her son, who occasionally stopped by.
This winter, Graham will get a chance to go up against Nick Vena. Or at least the Morristown High School athletes he's coaching.
Graham will be throwing for Morris County School of Technology's new indoor track and field program. They're scheduled to debut at the Gardiner Holiday Relays on Dec. 13 at Drew University.
