NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — North Charleston Police say a traffic stop of a woman accused of passing a stopped school bus with lights on led to multiple charges against her.
Gianni Desiree Hamilton, 24, is charged with passing a stopped school bus, driving under suspension (third and subsequent offense), operating an uninsured vehicle, receiving stolen goods and habitual traffic offender, according to jail records.
Jail records state a judge set bond at a total of $9,540 on the charges.
Police say they spotted Hamilton passing a school bus with its stop arm and flashing lights activated at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday near Greenridge Road and Crossroads Drive. Police stopped the vehicle a short distance away near Sorrell Avenue.
