Wilfredo Tortolero Arriechi Apprehended for SF General Hospital Attack

SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, December 4, at San Francisco Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg General Hospital in Ward 86 HIV clinic area, a stabbing incident occurred between Wilfredo Tortolero Arriechi, 34, and a 31-year-old University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) male social worker.

During the aftermath, an on-site medical staff at San Francisco General Hospital provided immediate life-saving aid, which included cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the social worker. The victim sustained multiple stabbing wounds to the neck and shoulder upon being repeatedly stabbed. He was transported to the operating room in critical condition, where he underwent surgery.
