CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Bookhouse Brewing announced on Nov. 18 that it will be writing its final chapter, closing its doors mostly likely on Dec. 31, one of many business closures in the Northeast Ohio region.

With its closing on Dec. 31, Bookhouse Brewing will be just a few weeks shy of its seven year anniversary.

According to a social media post by Northeast Ohio Craft Beverage News, Bookhouse is the latest to announce its closure, with Bascule Brewery and Public House in Lorain also recently announcing its imminent closure.

On a positive note, the social media post by Bookhouse said that there are discussions being made to try to keep the space alive as a gathering place to offer the unique charm of Ohio City, Cleveland, to all-comers of our fair city.
