He's become 2025's unlikely pantomime star and, as he wows audiences in his hometown of Blyth , Newcastle United star Dan Burn has also paid a visit to another popular panto in the North East. Oh yes he has!

The tall Northumberland born defender has had quite a year, as, as well as scoring the first of Newcastle's two goals as they beat Liverpool to lift the Carabao Cup in March to end a 70 year wait for a major trophy; the fan favourite was granted the Freedom of Northumberland at a ceremony in June, before he and gaffer Eddie Howe picked up Honorary Degrees from Northumbria University at the start of this month.
