Chhattisgarh government says it will withdraw cases registered against surrendered Naxalites, with the proposal getting a green signal in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday. The move includes setting up a cabinet sub-committee and district-level committees to screen cases. The benefit will go to those who have left Naxal violence behind and maintained good conduct after surrender.
