All school buses, taxis and special education transportation routes have been cancelled due to the weather conditions, but schools remain open.

The Waterloo Regin District School Board (WRDSB) and the Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) announced the transportation cancellations Wednesday morning.

All extended day programs and child care centres located in schools are still open and operating.

School boards are asking parents or guardians who decide to keep their children home today to call the school to report their absence.
