Obesity has been in the news quite a bit lately, and rightfully so.

Most of the news centers on the drug Ozempic and its alleged effect on weight loss. With a large segment of the American population qualifying as obese, doctors and patients are seeking ways to make us thinner.

It appears that drugs like Ozempic, originally developed to combat Type 2 diabetes in adults, have been successful in battling obesity. This has led to people bailing out of the more difficult ways to slim up, such as watching their diets and exercising regularly, in favor of taking an injection.
