FARMERVILLE, La. ( KNOE /Gray News) - A man was arrested after a student brought crack cocaine to an elementary school in Louisiana, according to authorities.
School staff notified a resource officer after a student turned in a bottle containing suspected crack cocaine on Monday.
Deputies learned two children had the bottle before bringing it to the school office. Deputies interviewed the children, who provided information about who owned the substance. During the investigation, authorities learned of two separate residences where additional illegal narcotics may be present.
Deputies obtained search warrants and executed a search of both locations.
