LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Potter Park Zoo’s Wonderland of Lights is holding a special event Wednesday night to help kids who have life-threatening conditions.
Oftentimes, children battling life-threatening illnesses have to hit pause on childhood. But on Wednesday, the organization “A Kid Again Michigan” is helping more than 1,000 family members hit “play” again.
Kids and their families who spend their days in treatment will get to spend a night under the holiday lights.
The Wonderland of Lights Holiday Adventure runs from 5-8 p.m., featuring s’mores, hot cocoa, visits with Santa and “moments of pure childhood magic.”
A Kid Again Michigan provides cost-free, fun-filled destination events throughout the year called “adventures.” More information about the organization and their Adventures
