RUDOLPH − The 2025 Run, Run Rudolph 5K has been canceled due to extreme cold temperatures predicted for this weekend, according to a community announcement.
Race officials, runners and medical personnel determined it would be unsafe to hold the event, which was scheduled for Dec. 13, event organizers said in a Dec. 10 post on the event's Facebook page .
All registered runners will receive $5 off their registration for next year's race, which is on Dec. 12, 2026.
Despite the cancellation, THINK Academy, which hosts the annual fundraising event, will still celebrate the holiday season by opening its cafeteria from 10-11 a.m. Dec. 13 for runners to pick up their race shirts and enjoy coffee, hot chocolate and snacks.
