Two people have been rushed to hospital after a pedestrian was struck by a motorbike in Glasgow. The incident happened around 7.45pm on Friday December 12, on Pollokshaws Road at its junction with Queen Square.

Emergency services attended and the 74-year-old pedestrian and 52-year-old rider of the Triumph Bonneville motorbike were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been confirmed.

Police closed off the road for nearly five hours as investigations were carried out. Now, officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
