A big push of showers arrived here in the Grand Valley, giving us the first round of rainfall here in the Western Slope. Tonight, I do expect some heavier showers to replicate that late tonight and early tomorrow morning. Close to another fifth of an inch of rainfall will be possible. We have been in a Flood Watch in much of the Western Slope all day, and have seen Flash Flood Warnings issued near burn sites in Rio Blanco county periodically. Runoff from very dry and burned zones remains a concern into the evening.
Tomorrow will remain well below average with a high of 79°. The first rainfall period will be in the morning and early afternoon, before seeing a break from widespread showers until chances go up once more for nighttime showers. Thursday and Friday carry greatly reduced chances
