FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It’s been a blustery day with off-and-on lake showers! If it was January instead of August we’d be talking about some intense pockets of lake effect snow. Too soon to bring that up? :)
Tonight will be another chilly one with lows down into the low to mid 40s. The record low in Fort Wayne is 45º and we’ll be within a degree or two depending on how quickly we can clear out tonight. It will certainly be the coolest night since at least early June.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny, warmer, and less windy with highs in the mid 70s. Another cold front will sweep through Thursday, leading to some early rain, followed by some scattered afternoon and evening showers. Highs will fall back a bit into the low 70s as well.
