WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - An apartment complex caught fire in Goldsboro Sunday afternoon.

Goldsboro Fire Department units responded to the apartment fire at the Adair Place Apartments in the Rosewood community at 206 Keller Way Drive.

The call was received before 2:00 p.m., and it took first responders around two and a half hours to bring it under control.

Goldsboro Fire Department says all 50 residents were accounted for and displaced.

Three people were transported by EMS to UNC Health Wayne, officials say.

In addition to GFD, Rosewood VFD, Little River VFD, Oakland VFD, Goldsboro Police Department, Wayne County EMS, and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist.
