MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — After last week's school shooting at a Catholic school in Minnesota, students have had enough.

Students from all over the Triangle have joined the national outcry to end gun violence and reform gun regulations by participating in a walkout protest Friday morning during classes.

This included high school students at Wake Early College of Information and Biotechnologies in Morrisville. A tip was sent to CBS 17 as a "call for greater firearm safety regulations in the state of North Carolina and across the country."

North Carolina State University students also sent out a call for action Friday, where students took to social media to urge people on campus to meet the Court of Carolina.
