Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital are in urgent need of blood donations. Numerous blood drives are being held across Cape Cod this month to benefit Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC). Cape Cod and Falmouth hospitals must have at least one week’s worth of blood on hand at all times. Since each unit collected or purchased only lasts 42 days, it is a constant challenge to maintain sufficient supply. All the blood collected at Cape Cod Healthcare blood drives help our families, friends and neighbors.

All donors to CCHC blood drives in September will receive a Wendy’s gift card.

Blood drive locations in the Upper Cape include:

• September 2 : 10:40 AM – 5 PM, Sandwich Library, 142 Main Street

• September 4 : 9:40 AM – 4 PM, Riverview School, 551 Route 6A, Sandwich

• September 8 : 9:40
