Former I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson has detailed the "learning curve" he's faced as he made a "tough" admission.

The television personality featured on ITV's Lorraine this Tuesday (September 9), where he chatted with presenter Lorraine Kelly about the recent obstacles he's encountered.

Sam notably separated from his former partner Zara McDermott at the end of last year. The pair had been together for five years and shared a home in London.

Following their split in December last year, Zara has subsequently begun dating former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.

During this morning's live broadcast, Lorraine remarked: "You've had a tough wee year, it's been hard, but you keep smiling. That's what I like about you," reports the Express .
