ANN ARBOR, MI — Several upcoming community events will take over Ann Arbor streets.

City Council voted Sept. 2 to approve street closures for the Ann Arbor Marathon, KindleFest, Tech Trek and the University of Michigan Credit Union’s Touchdown Tailgate.

The annual marathon will close various streets from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, with races starting at 7 a.m. See the course map and street closures.

Epic Races LLC is raising money through the event for select charities with the mission to “E-Race the Stigma” surrounding mental health. In addition to the full 26.2-mile run, it includes 5K and 10K options, as well as a half-mile kids run.
