ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two businesses connected to the hemp/CBD industry have filed a lawsuit against the City of Abilene and the Abilene Police Department due to what they say is "unlawful enforcement".

Owners of CBD House of Healing, which was recently the center of a controlled substance investigation and raid, and Starz Vape/Starz Vape 2 have jointly filed a lawsuit against the City of Abilene, the Abilene Police Department, Abilene Police Chief Rondell Seratte, Officer Steven Marc Valentine, and other officers in federal court.

CBD House of Healing was recently subjected to a search warrant execution, where $400,000 to $1,000,000 worth of their inventory was seized, including flower, vape products, and more.
