BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — An Upshur County custodian received statewide honors Tuesday night for his service to his school, students and fellow staff members.
Washington District Elementary custodian Brandon Kelley was announced as the winner of this year's West Virginia School Service Personnel of the Year award, according to a release from the West Virginia Department of Education.
Kelley was commended for his work ethic, professionalism and integrity in his position as a custodian, as well as his roles as a student mentor and on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council and the Staff Development Council.
