NORTHAMPTON — Later this month, a Western Massachusetts health care provider will put itself and its supporters through the paces in a fundraiser in support of health equity.

Tapestry Health will host its first-ever “Walk for Every Body” fundraising event in downtown Northampton on Sept. 28, a community walk for autonomy in health care.

The fundraiser will be followed by a block party on Strong Avenue, according to a statement from Tapestry. A state delegation will provide remarks, there will be a banned book story time performed by drag artists, as well as live music, activities and local food at the event.
