Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels reportedly suffered a knee sprain during his team's Week 2 Thursday Night Football loss against the Green Bay Packers, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NFL Network 's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo on Monday (September 15).

Daniels is reportedly doubtful for the Commanders' Week 3 game against the Las Vegas Raiders but the injury isn't suspected to be a long-term issue, according to Rapoport. Veteran quarterback Marcus Mariota is listed as Washington's backup.
