Reis Kessel has slowly been making a name for himself with the North Dakota State football team this year.

The redshirt freshman out of Fargo South is in his second season with the Bison. A 6-foot-5, 239-pound tight end, Kessel has recorded a catch in each of NDSU’s first three games, all of which have gone for 30-plus yards with a long of 41.

A three-year starter for the Bruins, Kessel finished his high school career with 51 receptions for 531 yards and seven touchdowns and was a two-time all-conference selec
