LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There are now less than 24 hours for community members to give their feedback on who should oversee Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) reform as an independent monitor.

Effective Law Enforcement for All and 21CP are the two teams vying to be the independent monitor to oversee the implementation of the city's police reform plan, a commitment made by the city after the Department of Justice ended Louisville's consent decree.

Both teams answered community questions in a public forum setting Monday night, trying to convince the city why they should be chosen to monitor reform.
