On Tuesday at 11:50 p.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Wednesday at 10 a.m. for Blair, Huntingdon, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland and Columbia counties.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
"Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility," comments the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
