The National Weather Service issued a report at 9 a.m. on Wednesday for dense fog until 11 a.m. for Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Livingston, Ontario and Allegany counties.

"Regional webcams and observations show fog continuing this morning across portions of the Finger Lakes and areas southeast of Lake Ontario. Some of this fog is locally dense, with visibilities down to a quarter of a mile or less. If you will be traveling, be sure to slow down and be prepared for rapid changes in visibility. The fog is expected to slowly dissipate by late this morning," explains the weather service.
