SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - For nearly a decade, Sioux Falls Thrive has been helping children succeed in any way possible, but it was just revealed this morning that the non-profit is shutting its doors.

Sioux Falls Thrive opened in 2017 and is known as the community’s only “cradle-to-career workforce development initiative”, which is an idea that all children need equal access to opportunities.

Thrive’s three main focuses were food security, affordable housing, and out-of-school enrichment.

“Our goal was that concept of bringing folks together, figure out how, where are the gaps, what are the issues that we have, and how do we make better use of our resources to find solutions to those issues that support all of our kids and their families,” said Sioux Falls Thrive President
