The exact hour UK snow begins in October - before potentially lasting for SIX DAYS - has been revealed. Several areas will experience freezing temperatures in the middle of October, the weather maps have suggested.

Maps from WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, show snow hitting Scotland from around 6am on October 11. It will stick around until 6am on October 17, the weather maps have suggested.
