LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas home prices declined to their lowest since April 2024, dropping $10,000 in just one month, according to Las Vegas Realtors (LVR).

The median price for single-family homes — $470,000 — declined by 2.1% compared to a year ago, when they were at $485,000. Single-family homes haven't been below $480,000 since the end of last year.

Condominiums and townhomes declined by $4,000 to a median price of $294,000 in September.

The median price is the one in the middle — half of the homes out there sell for higher, and half sell for less.

Overall, there are more homes available for sale than the number of qualified buyers out there. That's what LVR is seeing, and national trends are following the same pattern.
